Garden Drawings. China ink.
I live and work in a house with a garden. For this reason “The Garden” is a subject that appears in different collections of drawings.
In the garden, there is a native life, which always is moving. I sometimes have the feeling that something escapes me: perhaps is the fast track of a lizard or a cat’s tail hiding behind a pot.
I see a world in constant change: flowers that become small fruits, smells from trees like the forest or like flowers according to the season we are in.
All this activity increases at the end of spring that was when I did all these drawings.
In these draws I used a special tracing: light, delicate and with it’s own movement.
I notice in them a new shapes, open to be interpreted in different ways.
